Deloitte is one of the world’s largest professional services firms, providing audit, consulting, tax, legal, risk and financial advisory services to businesses, governments and institutions. The firm says it operates with more than 450,000 professionals across over 150 countries and territories, a scale that gives its graduate recruitment programmes strong visibility among job seekers looking for structured entry into professional services.
In Africa, Deloitte continues to recruit across multiple markets, including Nigeria and East Africa. For the 2026 cycle, the East Africa annual graduate programme covers Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, while Nigeria is recruiting separately into core business units such as Audit and Assurance, Consulting, and Tax and Legal. This matters because applicants are not looking at one blanket opening; they are looking at region-specific tracks with different deadlines and conditions.

Key Facts Applicants Should Know
The East Africa annual graduate programme is described by Deloitte as a two-year programme for recent university graduates, combining classroom learning with on-the-job training. Deloitte’s FAQ for the programme states that hiring is for Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and that applicants must have authority to work in the country where they apply.
For Nigeria, Deloitte’s current graduate recruitment postings list eligibility points that include a minimum of a second-class upper degree or upper credit, five O’level credits including Mathematics and English in one sitting, a maximum age of 26 at the date of application, completion of NYSC, and not having written the Deloitte aptitude test before. The consulting posting lists an application deadline of 10 April 2026.
For Tanzania under the East Africa programme, the listing states applicants should upload an updated CV plus academic certificates, including university and high school certificates, and notes that shortlisted candidates must be physically present in Tanzania for all interview stages. The closing date shown on that posting is 24 April 2026.

Pro Tip
To have an edge in this recruitment cycle, do not send a generic graduate CV.
Note that Nigeria and East Africa are clearly being recruited through different tracks, and the job pages already show that expectations are not identical. A stronger approach is to tailor each application to the exact business line and country, make your academic record easy to verify at a glance, and ensure your documents match the specific posting before you submit.
