Legal Affairs: Director of the Department
Job Description
- Study and provide advice on draft conventions and international treaties of interest to Member States or to which they are invited to become parties.
- Conduct studies and undertake research on problems and legal issues.
- Analyse the impact and compliance of past conventions to improve relations between Member States and other countries.
- Draft legal texts of conventions that are held within the framework of the organisation and finalise legal procedures in connection with signing, ratification, and accession.
- Represent the OIC in taking legal measures before courts and arbitration bodies in cases of settlement of a dispute of a legal character.
- Study legal questions related to the Secretariat and Subsidiary organs of the OIC
- Undertaking affairs of the Committee on settlement of disputes related to the basic staff regulations of the organisation, including publication of the Committee’s decisions and the legal principles taken as a basis for judgement.
Education
At least a Master’s Degree in International Law, Legal Studies, or related fields. A Ph.D. degree will be an added advantage.

Internal Auditor
Job Description:
- Monitor financial operations to ensure financial processes and operations comply with the Financial Regulations of the OIC General Secretariat.
- Determine the reliability of the accounting records, registries and financial statements.
- Prepare and implement audit programs covering the entire financial and management activities of the General Secretariat.
- Develop the needed recommendations to ensure the effective use of the financial resources within the General Secretariat.
- Follow-up on the implementation of recommended actions and measures pertaining to the system of financial control.
- Cooperate with the Financial Control Organ (FCO)
- Ensure compliance with applicable procedures regarding financial records and ensure reliability of assets against loss and misuse.
- Follow-up on the continued implementation of the FCO recommendations with due professionalism.
- Develop recommendations about budgeting and final accounts.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the General Secretariat.
Education
Holder of a university degree in Accounting, Financial Studies, CPA, Budget Studies, or any related fields. (Master’s or Ph.D. degree is preferred).

- At least 12 years of proven experience in auditing, preparing budgets, or accounting, gained preferably at financial auditing agencies in Member States or in intergovernmental organisations.

Job Description
- The Candidate must possess BBA/B.Sc.Engg., MBA, and Ph.D. in relevant branch (Business) from a recognized University/ Institutions.
- The successful candidate must be an outstanding scientist who has demonstrated:
- the talent and vision to define an independent research program,
- the scientific maturity to establish an independent research group, and
- has demonstrated successful experience in research-based teaching.
- The candidate is also expected to give advice on the development of the applied business-related research and innovation agenda to funding and management organisations, as well as the industry. Development of relevant lab facilities for faculty members and students are of highest priority.
- Economy class and most direct route return airfare between Home Country and Dhaka will be reimbursed only upon submission of necessary documents.
