    One Acre Fund is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping smallholder farmers across Africa grow their way out of hunger and poverty. Founded in 2006, the organisation provides farmers with access to quality seeds, fertilizer, agricultural training, and financing, essentially everything they need to improve their harvests and income.

    Today, One Acre Fund serves over 5 million farmers in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, and beyond. Their mission is simple but powerful: make smallholder farmers more prosperous, more food-secure, and better able to provide for their families.

    As the organisation expands its programs to reach even more rural communities, they are hiring passionate, skilled professionals to fill critical roles across Africa and the world.

    Tanzania Data and Execution Specialist (Fixed-Term)

    Responsibilities:

    • Data Collection and Analysis 
    • Design and manage survey tools (e.g., CommCare, Kobo, or others) and tracking dashboards.
    • Analyse program data to inform decisions and ensure regional KPI targets are met.
    • Field Operations & Logistics Coordination
    • Coordinate materials, schedules, and resources for smooth field operations.
    • Manage logistics for tree distribution by liaising between HQ and the field teams.
    • Quality Control & Auditing
    • Conduct audits on data from vendors and field staff to ensure accuracy.
    • Manage outgrower payment processes and resolve reporting discrepancies.
    • Impact and Extension
    • Support the adoption of the department’s practices and strategy through training coordination.
    • Identify service gaps and collaborate with leadership to enhance the customer experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent project management skills
    • Experience managing team members
    • Excellent verbal and written communication across different audiences
    • Cross-cultural competence and ability to work with diverse teams.
    • Data Collection and Analysis skills:
      • Experience in survey design
      • Knowledge of Kobo Toolbox or Commcare or other tools
      • Data analysis and visualization (dashboards) in Google Sheets

     

    Ethiopia Rotation Program Associate

    Responsibilities:

    • Rotate through different departments (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Product Innovation, M&E, HR) based on current needs.
    • Take ownership of discrete projects during each rotation (e.g., Lead cross-functional initiatives with clear deliverables and timelines, Develop tools, processes, or systems to improve efficiency and performance, Coordinate stakeholders and manage communication to ensure alignment)

    On the short term, we will want you to focus on scaling innovation.

    • Program Design: You will design new trials to generate an additional $5-$10m USD of impact. You will work with a diverse set of people to gather input on these (both OAF staff (from Ethiopia program and other countries) and external actors)
    • Execution: You will, through your team, coordinate the execution of all the activities necessary to generate the planned impact. This could include
      • Field Team recruitment and training
      • Coordination with our Logistics/Procurement Team for input orders and deliveries
      • Coordination with our Legal team on legal/tax implications

     

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in dynamic creative organisation(s) working on operations, (field) team management, training, program design, or product innovations.
    • Experience performing project coordination across multiple departments.
    • Experience performing data analytics to guide decision-making.
    • Prior experience working with rural development programs required.
    • Willingness to travel to remote kebeles.
    • Agriculture background/experience is a plus; interest in this is required.
    • At a minimum Bachelor’s degree.
    • Amharic and English required.

     

    Nigeria Supply Chain Management Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    Supply Chain Function Management:

    • You will identify process improvements and digitization/ efficiency measures
    • You will set-up annual Unit’s Objective and Key Results (OKRs) and implement with the team.
    • You will Accomplish the Unit’s OKRs and KPIs
    • You will ensure budgeting and hiring of staff resources in lieu of program expansion.

    Warehouse Operations:

    • You will ensure smooth warehouse operations by providing necessary resources and staffing
    • You will ensure planning and onboarding of WH casuals
    • You will conduct regular internal warehouse audits/checks.
    • You will ensure 5S standard compliance of >90%.
    • You will ensure program-adequate and cost-efficient warehouse space and positioning across the country

     

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related fields
    • 3+ years experience supply chain management and implementation
    • Data analysis
    • Negotiation and collaboration
    • People management
    • Excel/ Google sheets
    • Project planning, management, and execution experience
    • Language Requirement: English

     

    DRC Local Government Officer (Fixed-Term)

    Responsibilities:

    • Represent OAF in meetings, visits, and working sessions (40%)
    • Ensure OAF operations Comply with provincial and local regulations (30%)
    • Information Sharing and Communication (20%)
    • Support to Internal Teams (10%)

     

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in government relations, public administration, or regulatory compliance, ideally in the NGO or development sector.
    • Proven experience in regulatory processes (permits, authorizations, compliance documentation).
    • Strong track record in drafting official reports and government correspondence.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • French and Lingala required; Kikongo is an asset.

    Tupande Market Access Associate-Kenya

    Responsibilities:

    This role is an opportunity for you to directly improve results, advise leadership, shape organisation culture and make your colleagues better at their jobs. Specifically, you will:

    • Lead strategic projects: You will lead and implement high priority market access projects needed to achieve Tupande’s vision for farmer impact
      • Market Access Associate Project examples:
        -Devise strategy and work with your manager to marshal resources to execute on it with the end goal of optimizing aggregation for one of the value chains we operate in.
        -Take note of, and make contributions to close operational gaps within the market access department.
    • Team management: You will also spend time supporting your direct reports on their professional development and daily work.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of working experience with 3+ years of strategy or management consulting experience
    • A background in managing complex projects and coordinating across multiple teams in a fast-growing organization, and a propensity for innovation
    • Experience working in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment.
    • Experience building and maintaining simple to complex spreadsheets (can perform complex functions)
    • A Bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement for this role
    • Fluency in English with an ability to work in rural environments

     

    Inventory Reporting Senior Specialist-Rwanda

    Responsibilities:

    Take lead on monthly, quarterly and annual books close close (Inventory Accounting)

    • Provide oversight to the inventory accounting and other teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with both internal controls & the applicable financial reporting standards.
    • Coordinate Moth-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes related to inventory;
    • Prepare the Inventory provisions, Valuation and other analysis as required
    • Work with the FP&A team to produce accurate financial information as it pertains to both inventory & COGS

    Improve accuracy and usefulness of financial information:

    • Work with different teams to create process and system improvements around inventory management, CoGs recognition and Accounts Payables to ensure accurate reporting
    • Prepare procedures/manuals for the relevant teams with regard to Inventory and Accounts Payable

     

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in inventory accounting or a related field in a paced environment.
    • Degree in Accounting, Business or related area
    • CPA, ACCA or similar certification required
    • Experience with International Financial reporting frameworks (IFRS or US GAAP)
    • Work planning and organization
    • Analytical approach to solving problems

    • Solid experience working with Excel (ability to use complex functions)

    Tupande Financial Advisory Service Senior Associate-Global Remote

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead consultant for assigned Departments in providing financial advice to support business strategies.
    • Create financial models for new business opportunities that emphasize program profitability and effectiveness.
    • Coordinate annual budgeting process for assigned departments / divisions.
    • Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections & collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Work with Department Heads to manage the monthly BVA process.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years work experience in finance field with some experience in the consulting sector.
    • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business or related fields
    • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP).
    • Professional accounting certification – CPA / ACCA with knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
    • Experience in financial modelling and proficiency in excel skills. Preferably great with numbers and providing quick analysis.

     

    Burundi Innovations Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Take responsibility for overseeing agricultural research projects – ensuring that the project leads are following the right course of action and that maximum learnings can be obtained.
    • Determine, independently, the good objectives to achieve and the indicators to measure for the project
    • Identify any bottlenecks during project implementation and work with the project leads to troubleshoot. Put in place solutions quickly and effectively.
    • Identify and propose recommendations to improve the running of projects
    • Ensure all project documents are up to date and well-filed.
    • Make sure that the project lead is communicating the project updates with the right stakeholders at the right time
    • Work with the Projects coordinator (JL4) to prepare them to scale the successful projects

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience leading a team, delegating tasks, and/or mentoring direct reports\
    • Experience in agriculture, development or innovation.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
    • Proven skills in analyzing data and presenting complex results in a digestible manner.
