- Qualification
- Applicants for the following aspects of nursing must possess BSc Nursing or HND Nursing from NUC accredited University or NBTE accredited College of Nursing Sciences respectively.
- Must also hold valid current practicing license from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Physiotherapist (Therapeutics / Diagnostics / Medical Support Services)
Qualification
- BSc in Physiotherapy as minimum requirement. Doctor of Physiotherapy is an added advantage. Registered with Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB). Annual practicing License 2025.
Air Provost
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc/B.A or M.Sc/M.A in Criminology, Forensic Psychology, Forensic Science, Cyber Security and Communications Art.
- Professional Certification as Certified Forensic Investigation Professional (CFIP), Certified Protection Officer (CPO) or Certified Security Professional (CSP), Certificate in Criminal Intelligence or Security Management, Certificate in Digital Forensics or Cybercrime Investigation.
- ICT & Technical Security Skill Proficiency in Surveillance Systems (CCTV), Security Information Management System (SIMS), Digital Evidence Management and Data Analytics for Crime Detection would be an added advantage.
Radiographer (Therapeutics / Diagnostics / Medical Support Services)
Qualification
- Bachelor of Radiography from any NUC accredited University. Valid current annual practicing license from Radiographer’s Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). Annual practicing license 2025.
Nurse, Anaesthesia
Qualification
- Applicants for the following aspects of nursing must possess BSc Nursing or HND Nursing from NUC accredited University or NBTE accredited College of Nursing Sciences respectively.
- Must also hold valid current practicing license from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Communication Information Systems Personnel
Qualification
The requirements for specialties under Communication Information System are as follows:
- Candidates should possess a BEng/HND Satellite Communication or Satellite Ground Station Engineering or MEng/PGD Satellite Communication System Engineering. Professional certification in ITU Satellite Coordination or VSAT Installation would be an added advantage.
- BSc/HND Computer Science/Engineering, AI or Robotics or MSc/PGD in Space Mission Software or AI for Space Systems. Professional certification in Space Mission Software or AI for Space Operations would be an added advantage.
- BEng Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or MSc/PGD in Rocketry or Space Propulsion Systems. Professional certification in Space Launch Vehicle Design would be an added advantage.
- BSc/HND or MSc in Digital Forensics & Cloud Security. Professional Certification in CHFI, CPN, NCS, AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer would be an added advantage.
- BSc/HND in Computer/Network Engineering or MSc in Information Security Management. Professional Certification in CCNP Security, CPN, NCS, Fortinet NSE 4-7 or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE would be an added advantage.
- BSc/HND in Software Engineering or Secure Software Development or MSc Software/Application Security. Professional Certification in CSSLP, CPN, NCS, OWASP or Secure Coding would be an added advantage.
Officer, Legal Services
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a BL with at least 5 years practicing experience. LLM added an advantage.
Air Intelligence Officer
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Cyber Security or International Relations (Certificate in Ethical Hacking would be an added advantage).
Officer, Administration / Personnel Services
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a BSc or MSc Human Resource Management or Statistics.
- Applicants must be a member of CIPM, NIM, CISON or PSSN.
Sports and Physical Education Personnel
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Health and Human Kinetics. Certification in Sport Coaching, Fitness Training or Sports Management from National Institute of Sports (NIS) and other recognized Institutions would be an added advantage.
Chaplaincy Roman Catholic Personnel
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a B.A Theology/B Theology/B Divinity.
- Applicant must be a member of one or all of the following professional bodies:
Membership of Catholic Theologians Association of Nigeria (CATHAN).
Membership of Nigeria Catholic Diocesan Priests Association (NCDPA) (for Diocesan Priests) or Membership of a Recognised Religious Body or Congregation (for Religion).
Medical / Dental Officer
Qualification
- Applicant must possess MBBS, MBChB or BDS from NUC Accredited University and must possess a valid current practicing license from Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Music Personnel
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a BA or MA Music / Performing Arts / Music & Theatre / Music Business or M. Ed. Music.
- Applicant must be a member of one or more of the following professional bodies: Society of Music Education of Nigeria (SOMEN), Association of Nigerian Musicologist (ANIM), International Society of Music Education (ISME), Pan African Society of Music Arts Education (PASMAE) and Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS
- Nationality. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
- Age. Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 32 years, while Medical Doctors (consultants) could be between the ages of 25 and 40 years at the time of the application. The Exercise is not for serving personnel desiring Branch Commission. Therefore, personnel above 32 years of age are not to apply.
- Serving Personnel. A serving personnel must be recommended by his/her Commanding Officer/Commander and must have served for 10 years and attained the rank of Cpl.
- Height. Applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall for males and not less than 1.63m tall for females.
- Medical Fitness. Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit and must meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
- Local Government Area Attestation Form. Applicants’ Local Government Area Attestation Form must be signed only by one of the following:
- Military Officer from the same State as the applicant and not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Navy.
- Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above.
- Substantive Local Government Chairman/Secretary.
- Magistrates from Applicants’ state of origin.
The Local Government Area Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signees’ Drivers Licence or National ID Card or International Passport.
- Presentation of Original Credentials. Successful applicants are required to submit their original credentials for scrutiny during the Selection Interview. The credentials include the following:
- Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and countersigned by officer of appropriate rank specified in Paragraph 6.
- Original and photocopy of Birth certificate or Declaration of Age.
- Original and photocopy of Educational/Professional Certificates.
- Original and photocopy of Indigeneship certificate from applicant’s Local Government/State of Origin.
- Original and photocopy of Attestation to Good Character signed by Officer of appropriate rank as specified in paragraph 6.
- Applicants must be free of any previous convictions on criminal grounds by a court of law.
- Any applicant suspected to have impersonated or submitted false document(s) shall be disqualified from the Selection Exercise. Also, any false declaration detected later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such applicants will be handed over to the Nigeria Police for prosecution. The Nigerian Air Force will not entertain any enquiries in respect of applicants whose applications have been rejected. Interested applicants are to note that the online registration is FREE OF CHARGE. - Application Form. On completion of the application forms, applicants must print out the underlisted documents:
- Acknowledgment Form.
- Parent/Guardians Consent Form.
- Local Government Area Attestation Form.
- Zonal General Aptitude Test. Zonal General Aptitude Test for successful candidates will hold on a date to be conveyed on this Portal.
- Invitation for Interview. Only successful applicants will be invited for Selection Interview through this Portal. In addition, email and phone numbers could be used as deemed necessary.
