Capacity Building and Dissemination Specialist – Soil Values – Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger or Nigeria

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly update the program’s comprehensive Capacity Building Strategy and Dissemination Strategy for technologies and approaches;
• Conduct iterative capacity needs assessments for different Soil Values stakeholders and link this to tailored approaches per type of stakeholder;
• Strengthen the capacity of partners in participatory co-design methods and Inclusive Landscape Management approach;

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Rural Development, Extension Services, Natural Resource Management, or a related field;
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in capacity building, agricultural extension, technology dissemination, or rural development, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa (experience in the Sahel is a strong advantage);
• Proven experience in developing and implementing capacity-building strategies and training programs for diverse audiences;
• Strong understanding of Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM), climate-smart agriculture, and agroecology;

Administrative Officer – Ethiopia

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for IFDC designated office(s), managing front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors;

·        Coordinate and oversee all general office(s) operations, including mail distribution, office supply inventory, facility maintenance, and meeting security and health standards;

Receive, inspect, and process goods in accordance with IFDC procurement policies and systems (e.g., NetSuite);

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field, with a strong attention to detail;

Director – Fertilizer Innovation Center (USA)

Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and leadership in establishing LIFe-US as the premier U.S. center for fertilizer innovation;
• Align research and innovation priorities with U.S. national food security, environmental, and economic growth agendas;
• Foster multi-disciplinary collaboration among academia, industry, policymakers, and farmers.
• Manage LIFe-US multidisciplinary research staff, provide advice and relevant guidance and information, and ensure that the institutional priorities are clear and understood;
• Oversee cutting-edge R&D in enhanced-efficiency fertilizers (EEFs), bio stimulants, AI-driven nutrient management, soil health, and circular economy solutions;

Financial Management Officer – Market systems Department – South Sudan

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement project financial systems and procedures;  

• Lead budgeting, internal control, and external audit processes;  

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with donor regulations; 

• Train and support project staff on financial practices; 
• Monitor financial performance and manage risk.

Responsibilities:

Communication and knowledge Management Manager – Soil Values – Office of Programs (Burkina Faso/Nigeria)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all communication activities in SV program countries and give guidance to the communication specialists;  

• Re-develop/build and implement SV internal communication strategy; 

• Support/contribute, in close collaboration with the Program Director, the compilation and editing of material for SV’S annual highlights and full program report; 

• Develop and implement a content management strategy for SV and a digital strategy for our social media channels (quarterly e-newsletters, track records etc.); 
• • Collaborate with the consortium partners, lead the implementation of SV’s KM strategy;
