Seniors – Managers, Valuations (Transaction Services) – Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage engagements related to the creation and implementation of deal advisory services in private equity and corporate environments in the financial services, consumer/retail, energy and infrastructure, telecoms, media & technology sectors.
  • Support proposal and business development activities in KPMG by leveraging relationships and working with the team to convert opportunities.
  • Lead delivery of financial modelling and valuation engagements.
  • Manage the quality of engagements and the development of staff.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project planning and execution and overall client service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA, ICAN, and ACCA are preferred.
  • Five to eight years of financial modelling and valuation experience in an investment bank, asset management company, or reputable accounting firm, including Big-4 firms. 
  • Proven experience in valuation of different asset classes or related fields.

Associate Director Trade & Economic Development  Fulltime

Qualifications and Experience
• First degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, ICT, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be essential.
• At least 15 years’ experience with major international donor institutions working on trade and economic development issues, as well as the digital economy, youth empowerment, and MSME development programs, preferably in Africa.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting the development of the digital economy in a number of African countries.
• Track record of success in writing proposals and winning engagements.
• Established relationships and networks with institutional donors with a thematic focus on areas such as trade, economic development, the digital economy, youth, and entrepreneurship.


Skills and competencies
– Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation and analytical skills
– IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office

  • Experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial model building.
